June 11, 2010 Friday morning we took the train to nearby Locarno , where we walked the streets, and enjoyed the piazza. Soon our friends arrived and joined us in the atrium at our hotel. Later we went out on the lake in pedalos and swam in Lago Maggiore. |

June 12, 2010 Saturday morning was a bit drizzly, but we nevertheless embarked on journey up the mountain via funiculare to see the view and visit the Madonna del Sasso church. On the way down, we walked the steep trail. |
