Neil and Denise in Lugano...
	August 26, 2004 As we rode south toward Italy, we ascended the Alps and passed a village where Neil thought he spotted a Hobbit. Then we entered the Gotthard Tunnel, and the next thing we knew, we were passing some castles in an area of Switzerland called the Ticino. We got off at Lugano and checked into the Albergo Dischma. Within minutes, we were ratcheting our way to the top of San Salvatore on a funicolare. At the top, we got a great view of the Swiss Alps. Back down in the Paradiso district of Lugano, we dined with a view of Lago di Lugano.
